DESCRIPTION:The Ring Summer Criterium Series brings together the WA Racing community.\nThe Ring Summer Criterium Series is the pinnacle of summer racing in Western Australia\, consisting of fully closed roads\, roaring crowds and an electric event atmosphere. The Ring celebrates the best of WA cycling with a high- quality racing experience for new riders\, all the way through to elite A Graders. \nThe Ring Summer Criterium Series is a safe and inclusive environment that works towards the common goal of involving more people in racing and creating a positive experience for everyone involved. In 2019 The Ring will go to another level\, with all five events in the series being raced on fully closed roads creating a European town-centre style of the criterium. \nThe first event of the series will take place along Mandurah Terrace on Sunday 3rd February 2019. Whether you’re looking to race in the graded races\, wish to get your children into riding with the free Little Critters event or to cheer on the riders\, there is something for everyone.   Join us in witnessing WA’s best racers in action\, enjoy the closed road atmosphere as well as food\, beverages and retail wares from the amazing Mandurah businesses and market stalls. \nProgram \n12.20pm U13 mixed (15 mins plus 1 lap) and Men’s E (20 mins plus 1 lap) \n12.45pm Women’s D (20 mins plus 2 laps) Women’s C (25 mins plus 2 laps) \n1.20pm Men’s D (25 mins plus 2 laps) \n1.50pm Men’s C (30 mins plus 2 laps) \n1.55pm Presentations One \n2.30pm Women’s B (30 mins plus 2 laps) \n3.10pm Men’s B (35 mins plus 2 laps) \n3.50pm Dome Little Critters (10 mins) \n4.00pm Women’s A (40 mins plus 2 laps) \n4.05pm Presentation two \n4.50pm Men’s A (50 mins plus 2 laps) \n5.45pm Final Presentations \nLittle Critters Event \nAs part of the event program\, we will be hosting the ‘Little Critters’ event. A FREE lap of the circuit for children aged 11 and under (1.1km). All types of bikes are welcome (training wheels\, BMX\, hybrid etc.) with children supervised by parents and coaches during the lap. Register your child for the event via our website or on the day from 11:30am – 3:40pm at the Registration Tent located in the Dome Car Park on Mandurah Terrace.
