DESCRIPTION:The combined Rotary Clubs of Mandurah will be holding the annual Mandurah Rotary Duck Race and Family Fun Day on Easter Saturday 20 April 2019. \nThis community event is hosted by Rotary and is a low cost no entry fee event for the entire community which is held on the Eastern Foreshore of Mandurah Terrace\, Mandurah. \nMoney raised by the Mandurah Rotary Duck Race and Family Fun Day will be used to support: \n\nLocal Surf Lifesaving\nFamily and People in Mandurah Who are Doing it Tough\nRotary Projects & Programs\n\nThe Family Fun Day \nThe Family Fun Day starts at 10.00am and during the day there will be free activities for children and family that include kid’s rides\, kids versus parents tug of war\, sack races\, face painting\, speciality food vendor stalls and exclusive local art & craft works and much much more. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe event delivers live local entertainment all day promoting local singers\, bands and dancers on the main stage. \nOur Mascot and Recycled Boat races promote local business\, senior schools and sports clubs who fight it out to win the highly valued useless Rotary Duck Race Trophies for these events. \nGet your business\, senior school and sports club involved and join the fun to win one of the completely useless Duck Race Trophies. \nThe World Class Duck Races \nWe hold two world class Duck Races during the Family Fun Day and the first race will be the $50 Corporate Duck Race followed by the $5 Duck Race. \nDucks are put in the water to race at the Mandurah Eastern Foreshore at around 3:00 pm subject to tide and weather. \nFor businesses there is the Corporate Duck Race.
