DESCRIPTION:RSPCA WA Community Action Days are free events designed to help local communities who may be struggling to look after their pets. The events provide the opportunity to meet with RSPCA inspectors\, RSPCA dog trainers\, local rangers\, South Metropolitan Tafe vet staff and other rescue organisations. \nThrough these events\, we aim to help people understand the requirements of their pets including providing information about common problems like fleas\, worms\, ticks\, mange\, shelter\, food and water and vets are available to give free advice for pets and free check ups for dogs. \nWe offer (while stocks last): \n\nFree health checks for dogs\nFree flea\, worming and tick medication for dogs and cats.\nFree chain exchange – swap your choker for a human flat collar\nFree dog microchipping (not available for litters or breeders)\nFree pet food for families in financial need\nFree nail clipping for dogs\n Information about pet care and responsible pet ownership\nDog training advice\nStickers and various other giveaways\n\nWe encourage members of the public to join us with their dogs however due to welfare concern\, cats and unvaccinated puppies are not able to attend.
